Family; Incomprehensible is a collaborative exhibition of works by Chico Sierra and Justin Canja. Together they take their own visual languages to communicate the delicate balance of modern households and the complexities of the "nuclear family" while putting an emphasis on their cultural and ancestral identities. The exhibition invites viewers to recognize that the formal and informal definitions of the word family is not just comprised of heredity or relatable commonalities but also by one's own willingness to belong.
